The December 2 episode of WWE NXT was an interesting episode, where Deadline was a big focus. With the premium live event coming up, they switched up the tag team titles.
DarkState are riding high in their second run as NXT Tag Team Champions. Although the titles were held by two members, Dion Lennox is doing his own thing now.
Dion Lennox is in the Iron Survivor Challenge match at Deadline. Since he is looking for his shot at the NXT Title, he doesnt want to focus on the tag team titles. That being said, hes not leaving the DarkState stable at all.
During NXT this week, Dion Lennox explained the situation, and then he handed off his NXT Tag Team Title belt to fellow DarkState member, Saquon Shugars. Now, he will hold the title along with Osiris.
We will have to see what is next for the NXT Tag Team Titles. DarkState is certainly shaping up to be a stable to focus on many things at once. Only time will tell if they will eventually be covered in gold.
