AEW recently debuted new theme songs for Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada but it appears they werent actually made by the companys resident composer at all.

According to Fightful Select, AEWs in-house music producer Mikey Rukus was not involved in creating the two new entrance themes recently introduced on AEW television.

It was noted that Kyle Fletchers new theme was made by the band Hot Mulligan, while Kazuchika Okadas new music was a collaboration between One OK Rock, Paledusk, and Chico Carlito.

Mikey Rukus is very happy to be part of the AEW family but that does not mean he necessarily has to compose every single piece of music for every single wrestler on the AEW roster.

Even though Mikey Rukus didnt work on these specific entrance themes, hes still a big part of AEWs music and sound. Hes created themes for many top stars like The Elite and Thunder Rosa, helping define the companys overall audio style.

At the same time, AEWs decision to team up with outside artists shows theyre trying to add more variety and different musical styles to their rosters entrances. Therefore, well have to see if AEW will use more outside artists in the future.

How do you feel about AEW branching out to outside artists for wrestler themes? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
