WWE is gearing up for another round of tryouts, but this time, fans will get to watch the action unfold live.
According to PWInsider, WWE will hold ticketed tryouts in East Rutherford, New Jersey, from Wednesday, July 30 through Friday, August 1, leading up to SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium on August 2-3.
The tryouts will reportedly feature a mix of independent wrestling talent and recruits from other sports and athletic backgrounds, as WWE continues to scout for the next generation of stars. The move to sell tickets for the tryouts adds a new twist to the usual behind-closed-doors process, giving fans a rare opportunity to see prospects fighting for a WWE contract.
This announcement comes after WWE held a packed tryout at its UK Performance Center, where participants like Rhio, Goldenboy Santos, and Danny Jones competed for a shot at the big leagues. However, as of now, no official offers have been made to the UK participants, with everyone still waiting to hear back from WWE.
With the SummerSlam tryouts now confirmed, it looks like WWE is doubling down on its talent search, potentially bringing in new faces from both the UK and the US.
Will WWEs decision to open up the tryouts to fans create more excitement for SummerSlam, or is it just a cash grab? Drop your thoughts in the comments below!
