WWE Survivor Series: WarGames was a giant show this year in Petco Park. San Diego was full of WWE fans for the night. Naturally, fans were invested in the womens WarGames match.

AJ Lee returned to WWE television so she could help CM Punk against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, and later teamed with Punk to beat them. Rhea Ripleys feud with The Kabuki Warriors escalated when they attacked her and Iyo Sky and took them out.

On the other hand, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair clashed with Nia Jax and also ran into issues with The Kabuki Warriors, and this lead to title changes and several attacks involving Jax and Lash Legend. Ripley and Sky returned and set up a WarGames challenge. Flair briefly refused to team with Ripley, while Lee later cost Lynch a title. Ripley then added Lee to her WarGames team, but Lynch attacked Lee and joined the opposing side. Flair then secured the WarGames advantage, and that set everyone up for the big match.

This match also had a massive change with the setup, with Charlotte Flair and Asuka starting out this match for their teams. IYO Sky came out next, and she immediately grabbed a trash can lid. She also put that to good use, as Asuka ate some knees in the corner with the lid.

After that, Becky Lynch joined the match with a kendo stick already in her hand. After Becky got the upperhand on Charlotte for a bit, Alexa Bliss joined to help her out. Kairi Sane joined the match next, and she had a steel chain wrapped around her neck, already prepared for a brutal fight.

Just as the babyfaces were looking beaten, AJ Lee entered the match. Becky Lynch didnt want to tangle with Lee, so she held the door shut, but CM Punks wife scaled the cage like Spider-Man and got in that way via a big crossbody. Lynch wanted to get away from AJ Lee, and there was some chasing, but AJ Lee eventually got some shots in on The Man.

After that, Nia Jax entered the picture, and she looked focused. Then Rhea Ripley came out to a huge ovation and a dope, new, mask. Ripley also had a ton of weapons with her, including a white trash can that had IYO Skys name on it. Three minutes later, Lash Legend joined the picture. Then the match beyond officially started.

The match included a lot of power moves and near falls. Lash Legend accidentally took a mist to the face from Asuka, and then chaos erupted. The babyface team realized that they are all on the same page, and they teamed up to hit Nia Jax with a greatest hits worth of moves, including IYO Sky putting that trash can on her and jumping on the heel team below with a swanton.

At that point, Becky Lynch tried to run away, but Flair caught her and then she took a Rip Tide before AJ Lee got the Black Widow on, and Lynch tapped out. The babyface team won the first match, and it was quite a show.
