While speaking with Going Ringside, the Stanford linebacker turned WWE prospect revealed that he had lined up what he described as the perfect job, one that matched every degree he earned in college. But the moment he got his shot with WWE, everything changed.
Hill explained that he had been hired as a software developer at Tesla after studying psychology, computer science, and sustainability science. That job sounded great on paper, until he realized it wasnt giving him what he really wanted.
Things took an even wilder turn when he told his boss he had an offer from WWE. Instead of trying to keep him in tech, the guy pushed him out the doorbut in the best way possible. Hill said his boss, who was from India, ended up being a massive WWE fan. That alone flipped the entire conversation on its head.
Hill said the surprise didnt stop there, as his boss explained why he was so passionate about the idea.
That push was all Hill needed. He left Tesla behind, reported to the WWE Performance Center, and is now being positioned as one of the top emerging talents coming out of the LFG pipeline.
