The semifinals of the 2025 edition of the 'Six Kings Slam' in Saudi Arabia did not produce any surprises, with Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner who lived up to the predictions by qualifying for the final scheduled for tomorrow (the same as last year, when the Italian ace prevailed in three sets). The world number 1 had no problem beating American star Taylor Fritz in the first semifinal, instead the Italian champion defeated Serbian legend Novak Djokovic once again demonstrating a fairly clear superiority.
The 24-year-old from Sesto Pusteria has won the last six clashes against the 24-time Grand Slam champion, who has not won against Jannik since the final of the 2023 Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. Sinner is considered by many as Nole's heir having very similar characteristics and it is for this reason that it is very hard for Novak to prevail over him at 38 years old.
The former world number 1 gave his best yesterday as well, but he could not do anything against an opponent who shoots too hard than him from the baseline and is much fresher from an athletic point of view. This season, the four-time Grand Slam champion defeated Djokovic in both the semifinals of Roland Garros and the semifinals of the Wimbledon Championships.

Djokovic was dominated
Commenting on the second semifinal of this exhibition tournament, former French player Fabrice Santoro highlighted the current gap between Sinner and Djokovic: "From the first points we understood that it would be almost impossible for Novak to prevail over Jannik. The Serbian legend had an amazing season considering that he is 38 years old, but he was dominated by Sinner again. The truth is now clear to everyone: whether it is a Slam, a Masters 1000 or a simple exhibition, Sinner and Alcaraz are destined to reach the final."
The top two players in the ATP rankings will face each other tomorrow to win a crazy prize money, which has generated multiple controversies since the first edition staged last year.
