Novak Djokovic is enjoying some time off after the US Open, in which he reached the semifinals thanks to a strong run, before being defeated by new world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz in what may have been his last official match at New York's iconic Arthur Ashe Stadium.

The Serbian legend has once again expressed his desire to continue playing at the highest level for as long as possible and no one can deny that he is still competitive, having reached the semifinals in every Major this year, but the goal of becoming the oldest ever to win a Grand Slam title is hardly achievable while Jannik Sinner and Carlitos Alcaraz are in their 'prime'.

On several occasions, the 38-year-old from Belgrade has confessed that his body no longer responds as in the past and that he struggles more to recharge his batteries between matches. Despite playing few events this season, the 24-time Grand Slam champion is still third in the ATP Race and could qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin even if he doesn't play a tournament again until November.

Nole continues to stay in Greece

Nole has not clarified what his schedule will be between now and the end of the year, only confirming his participation in the new Athens ATP 250 scheduled for November. As everyone knows, Djokovic's family decided to move the Belgrade tournament to the Greek capital, after Novak had several misunderstandings with the current Serbian president.

The seven-time Wimbledon winner has been in Athens for several days and - according to the latest rumors - has already moved to Greece with his whole family (having already enrolled his children in school). While taking a walk with his son, he was approached by a Greek journalist, who asked him persistent questions about his potential move to Greece.

The former world number 1 did not give a clear answer: "I'm here with my son, I can't add anything else. I'm fine, but I don't know if I'll settle here, I'm just relaxing with my family."
