AEW All Out is going down on September 20th, but the show was originally set to take place at 8 PM ET before changing it to 3 PM ET. Following the change, Tony Khan has explained the reason behind this decision.
During the AEW All Out media call, Tony Khan was asked about changing the start time for AEW All Out. Khan explained that moving All Outs start time was done with wrestling fans in mind. He said AEW always studies the schedule to find what works best for both the company and its audience.
Khan added that AEW has seen strong commercial success with afternoon shows this summer and expects All Out to perform just as well with the new timing.
Regardless of what Tony Khan had to say, its evident that a big reason for AEW changing up the start time for All Out was so that they could avoid going head-to-head with WWE Wrestlepalooza on the same day.
Therefore, we will have to wait and see whether AEW All Out will ultimately surpass all expectations and put on a great show, as its clear Tony Khan wants to keep the momentum going.
