Former AEW star Allie known to fans as The Bunny has officially stepped back into the ring after a two-year absence, marking a major step in her post-AEW journey.
Allie took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a deeply personal update, revealing that shes finally resumed in-ring training after stepping away from wrestling entirely. The former two-time Knockouts Champion last wrestled on the September 6, 2023, taping of AEW Rampage, teaming with Anna Jay and Taya Valkyrie in a losing effort against Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, and Skye Blue. She was quietly removed from AEWs roster page in November 2023, with PWInsider later reporting that her departure was mutual.
Opening up in her new video, Allie admitted she hadnt been active in wrestling not just matches, but any kind of physical training for quite some time:
She went on to explain that her break was complete no bumps, no ring time, no training at all until recently when an unexpected longing started to return:
Allie made it clear she wasnt interested in rushing back into wrestling without feeling physically and mentally ready. Now, though, shes diving back in and the experience hit her like, well, a bump in the ring.
Theres no word yet on whether shes aiming for a return to AEW, TNA, WWE, or the indies but fans will be watching closely. For now, Allie seems focused on rediscovering her love for the sport and listening to where her instincts take her.
Wrestling comebacks always hit differently when they come from the heart, and Allies raw honesty has clearly struck a chord with fans.
