The fallout from the real-life assault on Syko Stu at a KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy event continues to unravel, and now a close friend is stepping up to defend one name thats been unfairly dragged into the chaos.

Independent wrestler Syko Stu real name Stuart Smith remains in the hospital after being violently attacked by Raja Jackson on August 23, 2025. The shocking moment, which was not scripted or planned, occurred after Raja charged the ring post-match and unloaded a barrage of real punches that left Stu unconscious.

Backstage footage showed KnokX Pros AJ Mana instructing Raja to give him his f**king receipt after a botched beer-can spot earlier in the show. The assault triggered a full LAPD investigation and public outrage toward the promotion for allegedly allowing it to happen.

Now, fellow wrestler Douglas Malo has issued an emotional update during an interview with TMZ Sports, addressing two major points: defending a wrongly accused wrestler and placing accountability on someone else who was in the locker room that night.

First, Malo spoke out on the threats being directed at wrestler KT King, who some fans falsely believe was involved in the attack.

According to Doug, KT King did the right thing and should be praised, not vilified. He mentioned that King cooperated with authorities immediately and offered a proper statement while others hesitated.

Doug then shifted his focus to someone he believes holds real responsibility for allowing the attack to happen the unnamed wrestler who brought Raja Jackson into the locker room that night.

Malo didnt excuse Rajas actions, but he suggested that proper leadership and boundaries from someone trusted in the locker room couldve prevented the situation from ever escalating.

Meanwhile, Syko Stu is still dealing with serious injuries, including broken facial bones and dental trauma. He remains under close medical care but is reportedly conscious and thankful for the support. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to assist with his recovery.

The investigation into KnokX Pros involvement continues, but the conversation is now shifting to accountability not just from the attacker, but from those who allowed him access and failed to intervene.
