TheAugust 11th edition of WWE RAW saw IYO SKY face Roxanne Perez after WWE had to make a last-minute change. The two had a solid match and now the internal reaction to the bout has been revealed.
According to Fightful Select, people in WWE were happy with how IYO SKY and Roxanne Perez stepped up and delivered when they had to replace the originally planned world title match.
The match happened after Naomiwas pulled from her Womens Title matchagainst IYO SKY and so SKY had to face off against Roxanne Perez instead. Clearly, WWE is happy with how the match turned out since both of them are excellent in-ring competitors.
Thats not the only change on the show as WWE actually fast-tracked Asukas heel turn, after she and Kairi Sane failed to help IYO SKY beat Roxanne Perez in their match.
Sometimes last-minute changes can throw off a wrestling show, but this time IYO SKY and Roxanne Perez rose to the occasion and went beyond expectations. With Asukas heel turn now underway, well have to see how things progress as we head towards Clash in Paris.
