Thekla made a bang when she debuted in AEW, quickly claiming the AEW Women'sWorldChampionship and having a dominating run with the belt. Her persona has always been slightly unhinged, and according to Thekla, this was something Jeff Jarrett picked up on as well.During an interview with "TMZ's Inside The Ring," Thekla was asked about her return promo at AEW All In: London, and how she pulled off hersignature upside-down spider crawl on the table in front of the commentators. "Everything's a spur-of-the-moment thing, dumb b****," she said. "My favorite thing about that was Jeff Jarret coming up to me after that and being like, 'You're a crazy b**ch!' I was like, 'Ah! That's the nicest thing anybody has said to me today!'"She then added that she also spoke to PaulWight afterwards, but unlike Jarrett, Wight was more freaked out by her antics and was more concerned that she'd spill her drink all over them. "No, no, I know. I'm a professional. I know it's hard to believe sometimes, but I know what the f*** I'm doing out there," Thekla expressed.Thekla has often been asked about her character work, and she has shared thatshe doesn't agree with the notion that pro wrestling is art, despite being an artist in her free time, expressing that it ultimately becomes a "douchey art project" when wrestlers blur the line.If you use any quotes from this article, please credit "TMZ's Inside The Ring," and provide a h/t toWrestling Inc. for the transcription.
