Awesome Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Champion Killer Kross, the former Karrion Kross in WWE, is set to defend his gold against another former WWE, now TNA, star, and in a recent promo, he invoked the name of the late Bray Wyatt, real name Windham Rotunda, to fire up his opponent.Kross will go one-on-one with Joseph Sawyer, the former Joe Gacy of the Wyatt Sicks. Kross cut a scathing social media promo on Sawyer, where he implied they were once meant to be stablemates. In the promo, Kross remarked that things were looking up for Sawyer, following his TNA debut, but he'll always be known for his former stable."That's a brand that you will never escape," Kross said. "But I know who you are and I'm so proud of you. You're handling this whole catastrophe so well. I think that's why he chose you. You know who I'm talking about. You know, I think to myself, Joe, it makes me so sad that I wasn't in the Wyatt Sicks. Because when Windham talked about the Wyatt Sicks, there was a crew of us that was going to expand across all three platforms. Six initially, but there was going to be a whole lot more... Every once in awhile I used to ask myself, 'Why didn't they let me be a part of what I was supposed to be a part of?'"Kross said he was placed elsewhere for a greater reason. He said that Rotunda knew Sawyer was meant for greatness, and greatness needs great opposition, and he's going to make Sawyer live up to it by "beating the ever-loving f****** s***" out of him at any chance he gets. That first chance will be at ACW Mischief Night 2 on October 17 at the MJN Center in Poughkeepsie, New York.
