Bayern take a slender lead back to the Allianz Arena after edging a pulsating quarter-final first leg which saw Kane score the decisive goal. The England striker doubled their lead 20 seconds into the second half following Luis Diazs opener and were dominant for much of the game, but Real Madrid rallied and pulled a goal back through Kylian Mbappe to keep the tie very much alive. And while the visitors were the better side for much of the game, Manuel Neuer had to make a huge contribution to the game, pulling off nine saves to deny the hosts on several occasions.Kane told TNT Sports: All the hype around it, coming to Madrid and trying to get a result its always a difficult thing to do. We had some good chances, credit to them they did too. We can be really happy with the win and take it into next week.Weve enjoyed some really good moments together. Were in the business end of the season now. The more you play and train together the feelings get even stronger. We always feel dangerous we always feel like we can score goals for sure. Were in a good position, we have to stay focused. Now its just about recovering and the time will come next week to try and do the same again.Arbeloa: Neuer was MVPReal Madrid interim Alvaro Arbeloa pointed out Neuers busy display which saw him win the Player of the Match award to suggest his side performed better on the night and insisted the tie is still all to play for.He told TNT Sports:I think [Manuel] Neuer was MVP. We had so many chances to score more goals but we didnt do it. But were still alive and we hope we can win in Germany. We lose two balls and they score two goals so we cant lose these types of balls because their players are so fast and so quick and have so much quality.
