He started every game over two seasons, extending his consecutive starts streak to 51.His issue was penalties. In 2025, Simpson racked up 11 penalties for 106 yards -- the most penalty yardage for any offensive lineman in the league. He showed a tendency to lose his poise, resulting in three unnecessary roughness calls.As a blocker, Simpson (6-foot-4, 330 pounds) didn't excel in any one area. He ranked 12th out of 17 left guards in pressure percentage allowed (7.8%), per Next Gen Stats.A 2020 fourth-round pick by the Las Vegas Raiders, Simpson lost his starting job during the 2022 season and was released.
