EmailPrintOpen Extended ReactionsThe New York Giants have reached an agreement on a three-year deal with former Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely, reuniting him with head coach John Harbaugh, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.Likely, 25, is one of the most talented tight ends available in free agency, but he is coming off the worst season of his four-year career. After missing the first three games of the season with a small fracture in his right foot, Likely finished with career lows in receptions (27), receiving yards (307) and touchdowns (one). It was a nightmarish season that included some critical ball-security mishaps. In back-to-back games, Likely fumbled just before he reached the end zone in a 32-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thanksgiving night and then had the ball punched out in the end zone in a 27-22 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.Likely showed flashes of being a playmaker in 2024, when he filled in as Baltimore's starting tight end. With Mark Andrews sidelined for the final six games that season, Likely proved dangerous after the catch and led the Ravens with 322 yards receiving and five touchdown catches. The Ravens were unable to reach a contract extension with Likely despite engaging in talks over the past year. Likely was expected to depart Baltimore after the Ravens signed Andrews to a three-year, $39.2 million contract in December.A fourth-round pick by the Ravens in the 2022 draft, Likely has totaled 135 catches for 1,568 yards and 15 touchdowns.Ravens free-agent punter Jordan Stout also reached an agreement Monday with the Giants on a three-year, $12.3 million deal that makes him the NFL's highest-paid punter and also reunites him Harbaugh, per ESPN sources.ESPN's Jamison Hensley contributed to this report.
