The March 6, 2026, episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown went down at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. This was a big night for the WWE Womens Tag Team Championship as well. Nia Jax and Lash Legend came out this week on SmackDown to celebrate their new WWE Womens Tag Team Titles. Then they had a couple of challengers come down. Giulia and Kiana James walked out and staked their claim to the titles. This was also the case with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. They had a bit of a promo battle after that, and then Nick Aldis came out to make a match. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss were in their ring gear already. So, Nick Aldis booked a #1 contender match to go down right after that. The two teams wrestled through a commercial break. In the end, Charlotte Flair nailed a Natural Selection and got the pinfall. That scored her and Bliss another #1 contender spot for the WWE Womens Tag Team Titles. We will have to see when that WWE Womens Tag Team Title match will be.
