The Oilers were two points behind the division-leading Vegas Golden Knights while being a point ahead of the Seattle Kraken for the second and final Western Conference wild-card spot.Dickinson's profile as a two-way center who can be trusted in various situations adds to a top-nine center dynamic that already includes a pair of Hart Trophy winners in Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.
