MJF has spent years teasing a possible jump to WWE, but the AEW World Champion is now suggesting he may never leave All Elite Wrestling at all. Ahead of AEW Dynamite in El Paso, Texas, MJF spoke with KVIA about why he continues to stay with the company. According to him, the biggest factor is the creative freedom he enjoys and the trust AEW CEO Tony Khan has placed in him as one of the promotions top stars. MJF explained that AEW allows him to be himself without restrictions and believes that freedom is a major reason why he remains committed to the company. The reigning AEW World Champion also pointed to the companys recent business momentum, claiming that rising ratings and ticket sales are proof that the formula is working. MJF didnt stop there. The outspoken champion also looked ahead at his long-term future in the wrestling business, making it clear he expects to remain at the top of the industry for years to come. MJF signed a massive contract extension with AEW in 2024 that reportedly made him one of the highest-paid performers in the company. Even though he has teased the idea of jumping to WWE in the past, his latest comments suggest hes comfortable remaining where he is for the foreseeable future. Of course, at just under 30 years old, MJF still has plenty of years left in his career, which means the possibility of a future move can never be ruled out entirely.Do you think MJF will actually stay in AEW long-term, or will he eventually test the waters in WWE later in his career?
