The NBA officially unveiled its All-Star Game reserves on Sunday, and even in a season full of structural change, one constant remains: LeBron James is still an All-Star.

James was named among the 14 reserves selected by NBA head coaches, securing his 22nd consecutive All-Star appearance. While his unprecedented 21-year run as a starter came to an end earlier this winter, the Los Angeles Lakers star continues to extend his own league record for most All-Star selections. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar sits second all-time with 19.

The reserve list reflects the leagues depth across both conferences as the NBA prepares for its first-ever three-team, United States versus the World All-Star format.

In the Eastern Conference, reserves include Donovan Mitchell of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jalen Johnson from the Atlanta Hawks, Karl-Anthony Towns of the New York Knicks, Pascal Siakam of the Indiana Pacers, Norman Powell of the Miami Heat, Scottie Barnes of the Toronto Raptors, and Jalen Duren of the Detroit Pistons.

The Western Conference group features Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Jamal Murray from the Denver Nuggets, Chet Holmgren of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kevin Durant of the Houston Rockets, Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns, Deni Avdija from the Portland Trail Blazers, and James.

The 2026 All-Star Game will be held on February 15th at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, marking the first time the event is played in the Los Angeles Clippers new arena.

Starters were determined through a revamped voting system in which fans accounted for 50 percent of the vote, while NBA players and a media panel each made up 25 percent. For the first time, there were no positional requirements for either the starters or the reserves.

One of the closest races came in the Western Conference, where Victor Wembanyama and Anthony Edwards finished tied for the final starting spot with identical weighted scores. Wembanyama claimed the tiebreaker after receiving 1,965,462 fan votes, narrowly edging Edwards.
