WrestleMania 42 has received a ton of promotion, but they need a stellar card worthy of the grandest stage of them all. It appears that fans may be treated to a triple threat title match in a marquee match.
Drew McIntyre shut down Sami Zayn at the 2026 Royal Rumble. That being said, his story is set for WrestleMania already, especially after Drew screwed Cody Rhodes in the Mens Royal Rumble match.
Dave Meltzer reported on his Daily Update on F4WOnline that WWEs plan for Cody Rhodes is to take on Drew McIntyre. That isnt all that WWE is doing with that match.
It was further noted that Jacob Fatu could be added to that match with Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre. That would create a very interesting World Heavyweight Title match at the show of shows.
WWE has a lot of plans for WrestleMania 42. The two-night event will take over Las Vegas, and they have to fill up the card. Only time will tell what else they add to the showcase of the immortals this year, but this triple threat match could be a great addition.
