After making his in-ring return on the January 17 episode of AEW Collision, Andrade El Idolo has officially rebranded his signature finishing move.
During his victory over Angelico, Andrade hit his classic double-arm spinning neckbreakera move he previously referred to as The Message during his time in WWE. But on AEW commentary, it was noted that Andrade has renamed the finisher and now hes confirmed it himself.
Taking to Twitter after the match, Andrade wrote, Tranquila Night!! New finish name!! DM
The name change aligns with Andrades updated AEW presentation. After returning to AEW on the January 7 episode of Dynamite, Andrade shocked fans by aligning himself with The Don Callis Family. That same episode also featured the debut of Jake Doyle (formerly Jake Something), who joined the faction alongside him.
The January 17 win over Angelico was Andrades first AEW match in over two years, following a WWE return that ended in his release in late 2025. Now back in Tony Khans campand with a new finisher name to matchAndrade seems poised for a renewed run under Callis guidance.
