While most expect there to be some tension between the two, Ferrero is open to returning to Alcaraz's team in the future, but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen anytime soon.
It is really hard to expect that the two of them will work together again anytime soon, but there is no doubt that if Carlos experiences a crisis in his career and if things happen that dont bring him progress, the young Spaniard might consider returning to Carlos Ferrero. However, it is too early to talk about that, given that the new season is about to start and he already needs to build chemistry with his new coach.
Consequences for Carlos
While many assume that such a break could affect Alcaraz's mental state and cause a mild crisis, Ferrero points out that Alcaraz is a player who knows how to deal with such challenges and possesses qualities that will help him progress in the future.
Ferrero believes the relationship between him and Alcaraz's current coach, Samuel Lopez, will remain just as good, but is aware that it will take some time for the 22-year-old and Lopez to develop chemistry and achieve big results.
