Jannik Sinner has just returned to Italy to enjoy Christmas with his family, but he will return to practice on the tennis court very soon.
The world number 2 who did the first part of his preparation in Dubai working hard together with his entire team will continue to train in Monte Carlo starting from Saturday 27 December, while his departure for Seoul (South Korea) is scheduled for 6 January.
As everyone knows, the Italian ace will be the protagonist of an exhibition match with his huge rival Carlos Alcaraz on January 10 before focusing on the Australian Open. The 24-year-old from Sesto Pusteria wants to become the second player in the Open Era along with Nole Djokovic to lift this trophy three times in a row and will certainly be the man to beat at Melbourne Park, where current world No. 1 Alcaraz has never made it past the quarterfinals.

Jannik doesn'tstop working
If he were to confirm the title 'Down Under', Jannik would have a huge chance of returning to the top of the ATP rankings in the following months having not been able to play this year due to the controversial ban that was inflicted on him by WADA. At the moment, there are only 550 points separating the Spaniard and the Italian in the ATP ranking.
In an interview with Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali during the last GP of the Formula 1 season in Abu Dhabi, the former world number 1 highlighted that he firmly believes in continuous work: "If an athlete wants to stay at the top of his sport for a long time, he must never settle and must always continue to work. Our environment is very competitive and the opponents are looking for new ways to beat you, so you have to keep your motivation at the highest level and be surrounded by the right people."
