Omos has been popping up in unexpected places latelyand WWE is just fine with it.
After months away from WWE television, The Nigerian Giant has been making major international waves, including surprise appearances at AAA TripleMana XXXIII and Guerra de Titanes in Mexico. Now, according to a new report from Fightful Select, WWE is not only aware of these appearancestheyre fully supportive.
The outlet reached out to WWE about Omos activity in AAA and was told that the company has been happy with the reception to his involvement. WWE reportedly encouraged fans to expect more of these international moments moving forward. However, when pressed about why Omos hasnt returned to WWE television, the company offered no explanation.
That silence has only deepened the intrigue around Omos, whose last televised WWE appearance was during the 2024 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal over WrestleMania weekend. Since then, Omos has been sharpening his skills overseas, wrestling for Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan and becoming an unexpected force in AAA.
His debut at TripleMana XXXIII wasnt part of any grand planaccording to Omos himself, it came together with one casual invite.
The result? A dominant win in the Copa Bardahl battle royal and instant status as an AAA Superstar.
He later returned on December 20 at AAAs Guerra de Titanes, aligning with El Hijo del Vikingo and Dorian Roldn in a post-match beatdown that had fans boiling with heatsomething AAA clearly intends to capitalize on.
WWE may not have a defined TV plan for Omos right now, but they seem to be treating him like a special attraction, allowing him to build momentum abroad while staying active in the ring. His October 9 surprise return at an NXT live event also suggests the company is keeping him ready for a bigger comeback when the time is right.
Will Omos continue to grow as an international threat before returning to WWE programmingor is he destined to become one of wrestlings true free-moving giants?
What do you think WWEs plan is for Omos? Should he return to RAW or SmackDownor keep building his name in AAA and beyond? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
