AEW has created several annual traditions, and the Dynamite Diamond Ring is one of them. Although MJF held that treasure for a long time, it now has a new holder.

During the television tapings for AEW in the Hammerstine Ballroom that took place on December 20, they crowned a new holder of the Dynamite Diamond ring.

Bandido defeated Ricochet to win the Dynamite Diamond Ring. The Demand attacked afterward, but Brodie King made the save.

The winner of this match received an AEW World Title shot on January 14th. It seems that the tradition of the Dynamite Diamond will continue, and only time will tell how it changes things from this point on.

The Dynamite Diamond Ring is an annual AEW prize introduced in 2019. The ring was initially won through a battle royal that leads to a final singles match. It isnt a championship, but more of a status symbol, usually tied to ego-driven storylines and used as a prop in matches. With MJF being the man most closely associated with it over the years, whoever holds the ring will have big shoes to fill.

Whats your take on the Dynamite Diamond ring? Do you believe that this is a great annual tradition for AEW? Do you think that it has already been burned out? Should MJF have retired the idea? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
