Drew McIntyres idea of happy holidays comes with a heavy warningespecially if youre Cody Rhodes.
After months of animosity and mind games, WWE officially announced on the December 19th edition of Friday Night SmackDown that McIntyre and Rhodes will collide once again for the Undisputed WWE Championship. But while fans are still reeling from the announcement, McIntyre used a digital exclusive on WWEs YouTube channel to send Cody a pointed, no-filter message packed with personal shots, accusationsand a not-so-subtle promise of destruction.
McIntyre kicked things off by calling Rhodes a liar and referencing a recent parking lot attack, where Cody blindsided him on McIntyres own property.
From there, McIntyre went deeper, accusing Cody of abandoning his values and painting himself as a protector of WWEs fans.
He then made it personal, telling Rhodes that his run at the top is nearing its end.
McIntyre didnt hold back as he blamed an inept official for his previous loss to Rhodes and vowed revenge in the rematch, which will take place in Grand Rapids.
And just when it sounded like McIntyre had said it all, he wrapped things up with a holiday message that sounded more like a final warning:
McIntyres confidence is off the charts heading into their upcoming match, and if his words are any indication, hes not coming to wrestlehes coming to take everything.
