Andy Roddick had an interesting story to tell during the latest episode of his podcast as the former world No. 1 shared that he was once called "an a--hole" by Andre Agassi for complaining about the weather conditions in Australia.
Roddick, who turned pro in 2000 and became a Grand Slam champion at the 2003 US Open, was presumably taking part in one of his first Australian Opens when the moment with Agassi occurred. That particular day, the American tennis player thought the weather was "disgusting" because it was humid but also windy at the same time.
One time we were in Australia, it was one of those days where it felt like a hair dryer outside. Its 140(F) on court and the winds blowing, its just disgusting," Roddick said on his podcast.

The former three-time Wimbledon finalist then proceeded to reveal that he was chatting with a couple of players, while Agassi stood in the corner and observed. And after hearing all that, Agassi had something to say.
Roddick: Agassi told me, 'You are sitting here, complaining'
I talk and the person leaves, and Andre goes dude, its the third f------ person youve talked to about how hot it is. Youre an a--hole. Im like what do you mean? Like, youre right, but why? And he goes youre sitting here complaining. How many people in the world have to be better than one person a day at their job?' the former world No. 1 added.
Agassi's message may have been strong, but it helped Roddick as the American tennis legend admitted that it made him and realize that he wasn't the only one dealing with tough conditions that day. Also, the 2003 US Open champion noted that he understood in that moment that he didn't need to have a perfect day to win, but just to do enough to beat the player on the other side of the net.
