Andrade has revealed what many fans never knew WWE originally planned for him to compete in the first WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event on June 7, 2025, but the match got scrapped before it could happen.

Speaking to Eduardo Bates, Andrade revealed he was set to face El Hijo del Vikingo, Rey Fnix, and NXT Champion Oba Femi in a four-way match at the first WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event, planned for Los Angeles.

According to Andrade, WWE saw him as the ideal bridge between the smaller luchadores and Oba Femi. He says they believed his in-ring style could help balance the match both physically and visually since he could work well with all of them.

But those plans were quickly dropped. Andrade was moved into the Money in the Bank match that same night, and the Worlds Collide booking never happened.

A four-way match with Andrade, Vikingo, Fnix, and Oba Femi couldve delivered a match of the year candidate one that fans rarely get to witness on a crossover stage. Instead, it was shelved before it ever got off the ground. For now, its just another lost match that lives only in wrestling what-ifs.

What do you think should WWE have gone through with Andrades four-way match? Would Vikingo, Rey Fnix, Oba Femi, and Andrade have torn the house down? Drop your thoughts below and let us know how you wouldve booked it.
