The Timeless Love Bombs are one step closer to making history.

During the November 19 special three-hour episode of AEW Dynamite and Collision, Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa picked up a big win in the AEW Womens World Tag Team Championship Tournament quarterfinals, defeating the team of Riho and Alex Windsor in a wild, back-and-forth match that had the crowd on edge.

The match kicked off with Shirakawa and Riho trading offense evenly before tags were made to Storm and Windsor. While Windsor added a bit of flair by teasing a dance during the early lock-up, things turned aggressive quickly. Windsor dropped Storm with an arm drag and a throat shot before tagging Riho in for a double team. Riho delivered a running forearm that nearly ended it early.

Momentum shifted back and forth throughout. Shirakawa returned with a sharp leg drop, but Windsor countered with a double suplex and assisted crossbody that had Storm reeling on the outside. At one point, Shirakawa nailed an impressive DDT on Riho while holding a leg lock on Windsorturning the tide and bringing Storm back in for a flurry of offense, including snapmares, a high boot, and a DDT for a near fall.

As the action intensified, Windsor hit a Blue Thunder Bomb for two before Riho tried to seal the win from the top rope. Shirakawa dodged and locked in a figure four leg lock, only for Riho to reverse it. Storm and Windsor both got involved to tip the scales, colliding into their partners after a chaotic exchange.

In the final moments, Windsor nearly ended it with a back suplex on Storm, but Shirakawa came through with a roundhouse kick and a German suplex on Riho. That opened the door for a set of double hip attacks in the corner, and Storm capitalized by covering Windsor to score the victory.

With this win, Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa move on to the semifinals of the AEW Womens Tag Team Title Tournament. The victory also strengthens the case for the Timeless Love Bombs as a top team to beat in this newly launched division.

Do you think Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa will go all the way and become the first AEW Womens Tag Team Champions? Or is there another team in the bracket with the edge? Drop your thoughts in the comments below and let us know who youre backing.
