Mercedes Mon just added yet another championship to her career, and this one came on live TV during the November 19 three-hour joint episode of AEW Dynamite and Collision.
Already fresh off winning her 13th overall title at House of Glorys Superclash, Mon walked into Boston holding the interim ROH Womens World TV Championshipand walked out the undisputed champion after defeating Red Velvet.
The match opened at full speed with Mon rolling up Velvet for a quick two-count, followed by Velvet answering right back with her own near fall. After a standoff, Mon took Velvet to the mat and taunted with her signature dance, but Velvet responded by firing her into the corner and hitting a boot choke to shut her down.
Momentum shifted again when Mon knocked Velvet to the outside with a baseball slide and nailed a meteora off the apron. She then grabbed both titles at the announce desk, showing them off and mocking Kris Statlandergiving Velvet just enough time to recover and fire back with punches.
Back inside the ring, Mon tried to use a title belt behind the referees back, but the ref caught her. Velvet nearly stole the match with a roll-up, but Mon kicked out and answered with a suplex for two. She followed with kicks to the head and a brutal slam on the edge of the apron that left Velvet stunned.
Velvet rallied with a double knee strike and another near fall, pushing the pace and forcing Mon to counter into the Statement Maker. Velvet escaped and locked in a reverse arm scissors before both women traded hard strikes. Velvet then planted Mon for a close two-count after Mon missed a corner meteora.
But in the end, Mercedes Mon landed a massive match-ending move that put Velvet down for the three-count, officially unifying the titles.
With this win, Mon is now the Undisputed ROH Womens World TV Champion, and her championship rsum continues to grow at a pace almost nobody in wrestling can match.
