WWE usually brings big shows to Madison Square Garden, and the November 17 episode of RAW was no exception. John Cena was in the house to bid the Worlds Most Famous Arena goodbye.
John Cena opened up WWE RAW this week, and he rocked a t-shirt that is already nearly sold out on WWE Shop. After receiving a grand ovation from the NYC crowd, and a suburb introduction, he got to work on the microphone.
He asked Madison Square Garden if theyre ready to start, and then he announced that the champ is here. Cena looked good with the IC Title, and he was very happy to be in the ring as fans chanted for him once again. This was his last Monday Night RAW, which is bittersweet, but also important.
Cena didnt get very far until Dominik Mysterio interrupted him. Dirty Dom had his AAA Mega Championship with him, but he was still upset about losing the IC Title to John Cena last week. That also made Cena a Grand Slam Champion.
Dom said that John was handed a title shot last week, just like hes been handed everything else. Mysterio wanted a rematch for the IC Title, but Cena wasnt backing down. He was down to wrestle on his last RAW, but he wanted to ask NYC how they felt about the situation. Fans cheered for the match, and Cena said if youre feeling froggy, jump. Then Mysterio said, no. He didnt want to do it Cenas way. He wants to do another way, without a hometown advantage. Fans chanted shut the f*ck up at that point, and Cena said they were chanting choco fun cup.
Dom then challenged Cena for a match at Survivor Series, in his backyard. Cena said, no problem, and the match was on. This should be quite a match at Survivor Series. This years Survivor Series event will go down on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California.
