WWE Superstars can sometimes make returns to the company in shocking fashion. This weeks episode of RAW provided a great opportunity for a former World Champion to surprise fans in a big way.
WWE considers Madison Square Garden its home in a lot of ways, and the November 17 episode of RAW included one former Superstar coming home. Dolph Ziggler has been going as Nic Nemeth for years, but he put that moniker back on tonight.
Dolph Ziggler was revealed as a mystery participant in the Last Time Is Now Tournament. Solo Sikoa didnt know who he was facing, and we saw his reaction in real time.
After eating Dolph Zigglers greatest hits, including a Zig Zag for a near fall, Solo nailed a Samoan Spike to pull down the win. Ziggler may have lost, but he certainly showed off. Its unclear if this means that Ziggler will return for the long haul, but this certainly brought a great pop from the Madison Square Garden crowd.
WWE released Dolph Ziggler in 2023. Since then, he took to the indies, and he is currently lighting up TNA Wrestling. He has made some appearances on NXT television as part of their angles with TNA, but this return for the Show Off was a big deal in MSG.
This isnt the first former WWE Superstar with a history with John Cena to show up during this tournament. Zack Ryder appeared on SmackDown. Since then, the merchandise on his WWE Shop has become a fast seller, and hes topping the list. Only time will tell if fans buy up some classic Ziggler gear now.
