AEW just locked in a brand-new tag team name ahead of this weekends Full Gear pay-per-viewand its already got fans talking. Big Boom AJ and QT Marshall are officially going by Boom & Doom, and theyre set to hit the ring together during the Tailgate Brawl pre-show.

The match will see Boom & Doom take on the reunited duo of Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta, collectively known as RPG Vice. This bout marks a full-circle moment for Big Boom AJ, whose AEW debut was against QT Marshall at Full Gear 2024. Now, exactly one year later, theyre teaming up instead of squaring off.

Back in their original match, Marshall leaned into AJs flashy boom persona by flipping the scriptsporting doom themed entrance gear to mock his opponent. But this time around, that doom branding is no longer part of the actits part of the team.
