Zack Ryder didnt need a full-time WWE contract to make an impact. His surprise return to the company may have only lasted one night, but his merch sales are doing numbers that rival full-time talent.
Even after losing to LA Knight in the Last Time Is Now tournament, Ryders return sparked immediate interest. The former WWE Superstarwho had been working the indies and building his own brand for yearstook to X/Twitter to reveal that his merch is outselling everyone elses on WWEShop.
He even took a friendly jab at another WWE name while keeping things humble.
Grateful for the support, Ryder made it clear hes not taking any of this for granted.
Sources within WWE confirmed Ryders return was a one-off and that hes not currently under contract. That said, the door isnt closed. With sales like this and a fanbase that clearly never left, it wouldnt be surprising to see him pop up again.
