Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s live coverage for "AEW Dynamite" on November 5, 2025, coming to you live from the Bayou Music Center in Houston, Texas!

Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta of The Death Riders will be going head-to-head with Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Mark Briscoe in a Men's Blood & Guts Match on November 12, while TBS Champion Mercedes Mone, Thekla, Skye Blue, Julia Hart, and Marina Shafir square off with Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter, Queen Aminata, Harley Cameron, and Willow Nightingale in the first ever Women's Blood & Guts Match that same night. Before all twenty competitors face off with one another in their respective bouts, a Best Of Three series to determine which teams will win the opportunity to add members of their teams into the cages first will kick off tonight. Cassidy will be going one-on-one with Castagnoli and Garcia will be taking on Allin in the first two Blood & Guts Advantage Battles for the men's teams, while Aminata collides with Bayne in the first Blood & Guts Advantage Battle for the women's teams.

Eddie Kingston will be competing in his first match on "Dynamite" since losing the Continental Championship to current holder Kazuchika Okada on the March 20, 2024 edition of the show as he teams up with AEW World Champion "Hangman" Adam Page and HOOK to face AEW World Trios Champions Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata of The Opps. After Joe emerged victorious against Bobby Lashley, Ricochet, and his former stablemate HOOK in a Fright Night Four-Way Match to secure another shot at Page's title at AEW Full Gear on November 18, Page surprised Joe by disguising himself as Tony Schiavone and pretending to interview him in order to launch a post-match beatdown on him.

The second quarterfinals match for the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship Tournament will be taking place tonight, as Ring Of Honor Women's World Champion Athena joins forces with the aforementioned Mone to take on the aforementioned Cameron and Nightingale. The winners of tonight's match will go on to face The Sisters of Sin, who defeated the aforementioned Aminata and Hayter in a quarterfinals match last Wednesday to be the first team to advance.

We are live! Excalibur and Bryan Danielson greet audiences at home as Tony Schiavone is waiting in the ring.

Schiavone briefly addresses the brand new AEW National Championship, but The Opps' music cuts him off and the trio make their way to the ring. Samoa Joe calls out Schiavone after what happened between him and "Hangman" Adam Page last week, then says he finds it hard to believe Schiavone had nothing to do with Page's plan. He says that actions have consequences, and surrounds the ring with Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata.

Security runs down to the ring to provide Schiavone with backup, but Joe says all Schiavone has done is put more people at risk of getting hurt. Page's music hits and he runs out to the ring, but when The Opps don't look to back down, Eddie Kingston and HOOK appear to provide Page with some backup. Page then tells Joe that he's his problem and promises to beat him in the ring. HOOK challenges The Opps to put their AEW World Trios Championship on the line in their upcoming trios match later tonight, and Joe accepts.

Orange Cassidy then makes his way to the ring. Claudio Castagnoli follows, and Schiavone takes his spot at the announce desk.

Cassidy flies through the middle rope to level Castagnoli on the outside and he rains down right hands on him. Castagnoli gets Cassidy in a Gorilla Press position and sends him crashing into the middle rope, and both men get into the ring.

The bell sounds and Cassidy connects with an arm drag on Castagnoli. Castagnoli gets Cassidy into a delayed vertical suplex and walks around the ring, then sends him crashing into the barricade near the timekeeper's area midsection first. He then delivers The Swing to Cassidy back inside the ring.

Back from the break, Cassidy delivers a backslide to Castagnoli. Castagnoli kicks out, but Cassidy lands a kick on Castagnoli under the bottom rope on the outside and follows it up with a Tornado DDT. He connects with a diving DDT on Castagnoli off the middle rope when the pair return to the ring, but Castagnoli responds with a Liger Bomb to Cassidy and transitions into a crossface.

Cassidy reverses into a pinfall, but Castagnoli kicks out and sets up for the Neutralizer on Cassidy. Cassidy sits into another pinfall, but Castagnoli kicks out and delivers a uranage to Cassidy. He follows it up with an uppercut and goes for a pin, but Castagnoli kicks out.

Cassidy and Castagnoli teeter on the ropes, but Cassidy catches Castagnoli with a Stun Dog Millionaire from the apron and surprises him with an Orange Punch. Castagnoli then catches Cassidy with a pop-up uppercut for the win.

Winner: Claudio Castagnoli

We then head backstage, where Renee Paquette is standing by with Mark Briscoe, Kyle Fletcher, and Don Callis. Mark says he heard Callis respond to his challenge for a TNT Championship rematch a couple of weeks ago, but he wants to hear what Fletcher actually has to say and challenges Fletcher to a No Disqualification Match for the TNT Championship at Full Gear. Fletcher appears interested, but Callis tells Mark he needs him to put something on the line in the bout: he has to join The Don Callis Family if he loses. Mark accepts, confident that he won't lose.
