Turns out Tony Khan isnt the only mind behind the curtain at AEW.

For fans who assumed the AEW President writes everything himself, Tony Schiavone just confirmed thats far from the caseand he even named one of the companys low-key creative forces: former CHIKARA standout Archibald Peck.

Speaking on his What Happened When? podcast, Schiavone dropped the name and praised Peckreal name Robert Evansfor his contributions to interviews and character development.

But Peck isnt the only one behind the scenes. Schiavone made it clear AEW has more writers involvedthough he stopped short of naming names.

While he didnt name the other two, Schiavone also threw praise at AEW star Chuck Taylor, who has now shifted entirely into a backstage coach and producer role.

For longtime fans of indie wrestling, Archibald Pecks involvement might not come as a shock. He made a name for himself in CHIKARAsharing roots with names like Eddie Kingston, Claudio Castagnoli, and Orange Cassidy. He also had a stint in Ring of Honor under the name RD Evans before retiring in 2019 following a match against Cassidy in Beyond Wrestling. Now hes helping shape AEWs storytelling in a big waybut doing it off camera.

Did you have any idea Archibald Peck was involved in AEWs creative? Would you like to see more transparency about whos really building the stories behind the scenes? Drop a comment and let us know what you think of AEWs behind-the-curtain team.
