
Renato Paratore, Filippo Celli, and Stefano Mazzoli are among the twenty players who have earned a place on the DP World Tour 2026. They were awarded after the last HotelPlanner Tour event, the Rolex Grand Final, to the top players on the Road to Mallorca (order of merit). While Paratore, with three seasonal wins (ranking fourth) and Celli (ranking seventh) had already secured their tour change well in advance, Mazzoli earned his place with a dominant performance, finishing second with 276 (66 70 71 69, -12) on the par 72 Club de Golf Alcanada course in Port d'Alcdia on the Spanish island of Mallorca, climbing to eighth place in the top rankings. In the tournament, Celli finished 18th with a 283 (73 72 69 69, -5) and Paratore 30th with a 286 (71 67 76 72, -2).

Englishman James Morrison won with a 273 (71 67 65 70, -15) and thus entered the top 20, jumping from 36th to sixth place in the Road to Mallorca. Scotsman Euan Walker, Sweden's Albin Bergstrom, and South African Daniel Van Tonder finished third with a 277 (-11), and Frenchman Felix Mory finished sixth with a 278 (-10).
Mazzoli shot 69 (-3) with seven birdies, two bogeys, and a double bogey, while Celli (-3) also finished with three birdies and no bogeys. Paratore scored a par of 72 with six birdies, four bogeys, and a double bogey. The winner received a 85,000 check from a prize pool of approximately 430,000 (the official figure is $500,000).

 JC Ritchie is the "king" of the 2025 HotelPlanner Tour South African JC Ritchie, seventh with a 279 (-9), the other player to have a hat-trick this year, is the "king" of the 2025 circuit. The 31-year-old from Standerton, with 1,674 points, finished ahead of Scotland's David Law (1,493 points), Austria's Maximilian Steinlechner (1,477), and Paratore (1,426 points). Celli earned 1,089 points, and Mazzoli 1,076.
The first documents attesting to the existence of rules of golf date back to March 1744. The rules were produced for a competition to be held at a Scottish golf club, and contained 13 points in total. Initially, writing the rules was the responsibility of each individual club and so they varied depending on where the game was played.
