Elijah, formerly known as Elias in WWE, is hoping to return to the ring soon after suffering a torn triceps earlier this year.

The injury happened during a six-man tag match on the June 17 episode of WWE NXT, when he attempted The Undertakers signature rope-walk spot and landed awkwardly. Just a week later, WWE confirmed he had undergone surgery for a full triceps tear.

In a new interview with WrestleZone, Elijah shared how recovery is goingand revealed that hes already been medically cleared for limited physicality.

Elijah made a surprise appearance at TNA Bound For Glory on October 12, smashing Nic Nemeth with a guitar to prevent him from cashing in his Call Your Shot Gauntlet contract on Mike Santana. He confirmed he was cleared for that spot, but is still awaiting full clearance to wrestle.

If he doesnt get cleared in time for TNA Turning Point at Full Sail University from November 1315, Elijah is aiming for the next set of TNA TV tapings in El Paso, Texas, from December 57.

With Elijah already getting physical and eyeing multiple return windows, it may only be a matter of weeks before hes officially back between the ropes.

Do you want to see Elijah back at Turning Point, or should he wait until December for a full return? Sound off in the comments.
