So far, the Rolex Paris Masters is certainly the Masters 1000 tournament in which Jannik Sinner has achieved the fewest results. The Italian ace has never gone beyond the round of 16 in the French capital and did not participate in the last edition due to an illness, which led him not to risk in view of the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin.
Some insiders had suggested that the current world number 2 would miss the last Masters 1000 of the season again this year, instead he confirmed his presence in a recent interview and hopes to have a better feeling with the new venue of this tournament.
It's no secret that Jannik's main goal between now and the end of the season is the Finals in Turin, where he will try to defend the title he won in front of his home fans a year ago. The 24-year-old from Sesto Pusteria is able to express an impressive level in indoor conditions and will be the huge favorite in all the tournaments in which he will participate between now and the end of the year, but he will have to be very careful with the opponents he will face in the French capital.

Sinner will play in Paris
The four-time Grand Slam champion will have a bye in the first round as number 2 in the seeding, before a non-trivial debut against Zizou Bergs or Alex Michelsen.
The former world number 1 could have faced the Czech ace Jakub Mensik in the third round and it would have been a really interesting clash, but the latter has recently announced that he will not participate in the Paris Masters 1000, simplifying the potential path of the Italian star.
Sinner's rival in the quarterfinals will probably be one between Russian aceAndrey Rublev and young American starLearner Tien, without forgetting Ben Shelton, although the American ace is very far from the top of his shape after the shoulder injury suffered at the US Open.
Jannik could face defending champion Sascha Zverev in the semifinals, but on that side there are also his compatriotLorenzo Musetti and former World No.1Daniil Medvedev.
