
Jannik Sinner will chase his second title in Vienna. World no. 2 faced Alex de Minaur in the semi-final and earned a 6-3, 6-4 victory in an hour and 27 minutes, reaching his eighth ATP final from ten tournaments in 2025.
The Italian bested the Aussie for the 12th time from as many matches and embraced his 20th consecutive indoor victory. The four-time Major winner will chase the crown against Alexander Zverev or Lorenzo Musetti.
Jannik made a strong start and secured a double break in the middle of the second set to emerge at the top. The favorite landed 18 winners and 21 unforced errors while outplaying his rival in service winners and from the baseline.

Sinner got broken two times from as many chances offered to de Minaur and secured four return games from five chances to control the scoreboard. The Italian was off to a perfect start.

He grabbed a break in the second game after the Aussie's mistake and drew the rival's mistake two games later for a 4-0 advantage. Alex pulled one break back in the fifth game and saved a break point in the next one, reducing the deficit to 4-2.
Jannik served well in the seventh game and closed the opener with a smash winner at 5-3, wrapping up the first part of the duel in 44 minutes. They served well in the first four games of the second set.
De Minaur sprayed a double fault in the fifth game and experienced a break at love. He pulled it back in the next one after Sinner's loose drop shot, returning to the positive side and locking the result at 3-3.
World no. 2 kept his composure and secured another break in game seven after the opponent's loose backhand. The Italian closed the eighth game with an ace and served for the win at 5-4.

He held at love with a service winner to seal the deal and book a place in the title clash.
