Alexander Zverev has officially qualified for the ATP Finals in Turin. Thus, the 28-year-old joined Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic at the premium ATP event.

Zverev defeated two rivals at the ATP 500 event in Vienna, collecting 50 ATP victories for the sixth year. World no. 3 received a walkover in the quarter-final when Tallon Griekspoor withdrew due to injury.

Thus, Alexander punched his eighth ATP Finals ticket in the previous nine seasons. The only interruption since 2017 came in 2022, when a severe ankle injury at Roland Garros ruined his season.

Zverev recovered and added three more participations in the previous three seasons. The German is one of two active players with multiple titles at the elite event, sharing the list with seven-time champion Djokovic.

Interestingly, Alexander ousted Novak en route to his two titles in London in2018 and 2021. Despite claiming only one title in 2025, Zverev is among the world's best players due to his consistency.

The German lost the Australian Open final to Jannik Sinner in straight sets. He played too manyevents in the upcoming weeks and did not enjoy on the court.

He conquered Munich at home in April over Ben Shelton before falling to Novak Djokovic in the Roland Garros quarter-final. Alexander lost the Stuttgart final to Taylor Fritz ahead of another Wimbledon setback.

He earned nice points in Toronto and Cincinnati but spoiled that run with an early US Open loss. Zverev is seeking the ATP 500 title this week, reaching his first semi-final since August and booking his place in Turin.

His ATP Finals crowns came in 2018 and 2021. He lifted a trophyas the 21-year-old over Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic and repeated that three years later after besting Daniil Medvedev in the final.

Last year, Alexander passed three rivals in the round-robin stage before suffering a tight semi-final loss to Taylor Fritz after a thriller.
