Aryna Sabalenka says one of Andre Agassi's quotes about improvement is 100 percent true and underlines that she is still working on improving her game because that's the only way she can stay at the top.
After entering the 2023 season with a revamped serve, Sabalenka's reward instantly came in the form of a maiden Grand Slam title at the Australian Open. Since then, the Belarusian has appeared in six more Grand Slam finals and has four Slam titles in her collection.
Needless to say, Sabalenka - who has been the top-ranked player in the women's game since 2024 October - established herself as a mighty force and one of the most dominant players. Still, the 27-year-old is not resting on her laurels.

"There's always something, you cannot stop. Like Andre said, the moment you stop, you're going down. And I only want to go up," the world No. 1 said at the Prudential NextGen Aces in Hong Kong, where she is joined by the American tennis legend.
After making that one clear, Sabalenka revealed that she would like to improve her net game.
"I would love to approach the net much more. And I need to spend time working on that and understanding the game on the net in singles. So, so many things I can get better at -- shots, strokes, like literally everything," the 27-year-old explained.
This year, Sabalenka added more success to her portfolio but also experienced some very painful losses - she finished as runner-up at the Australian Open and the French Open before winning the US Open. The Belarusian also won the WTA 1000 tournaments in Miami and Madrid, as well as made it all the way at the WTA 500 event in Brisbane.

For the rest of 2025, Sabalenka has one big goal - landing her maiden WTA Finals title.
