Chris Bey isnt rushing back into the ringbut hes not closing the door either.
The TNA Wrestling star suffered a serious neck injury during tag team match tapings the night after Bound for Glory on October 27 of last year. Since then, hes kept a low profile, and fans have been left wondering if theyd ever see him wrestle again. Now, Bey is finally opening up about his futureand its all about listening to his body.
During an appearance on Talk Is Jericho, Bey explained that his top priority isnt returning to TV or chasing titles. Its about healing physically and mentally.
At one point, Bey thought his in-ring career was already over. The post-surgery reality hit hard, and he was ready to accept that his days in wrestling were behind him.
Bey isnt interested in making a full-time return. What matters most to him now is writing his own endingon his own terms. Whether that means a final match or one last program, hes not chasing one last runhes chasing closure.
Bey reflected on his last major moments in the business and made it clear he walked away proud of what he accomplished.
For now, hes focused on his health and hinted that starting a family is part of the long-term plan.
Chris Bey doesnt owe the wrestling world a comeback. Hes already cemented his legacy in TNA history. But if he chooses to return for one more ride, its going to be on his termsand thats exactly how it should be.
