WWE Hall of Famer and NXT commentator Booker T isnt holding back when it comes to BJ Rays release from WWE and LFG reality series. And according to Booker, what fans saw on-screen was exactly what BJ brought backstageand thats the problem.

BJ Ray appeared on both seasons of WWE LFG, where much of the drama centered around his intense clashes with coach Bubba Ray Dudley. His confidence and attitude were a consistent source of tension during the show, and now it seems that behavior continued when the cameras werent rolling.

On the latest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker Twho also served as a coach on LFGspoke candidly about BJ Rays potential and the reason he believes things didnt work out.

Booker didnt deny that Ray had a strong presencebut he made it clear that talent alone isnt enough to survive in WWE.

And perhaps the most telling comment of all:

Since his release, BJ Ray has taken to social media tagging AEWs Tony Khan with messages like Your boy is ready call me and referring to himself as The Ratings Machine. Whether its a bold play for attention or just more of the same attitude Booker referenced is up for debate.

BJ Rays WWE exit might have ended his LFG run, but the former prospect clearly isnt done with wrestlingor self-promotion.

Do you think BJ Ray deserves a shot in AEW, or is his attitude too much for any locker room? Sound off in the comments and let us know what you think of The Ratings Machine.
