Bjorn Borg has declared Novak Djokovic the greatest of all time and tells the Serb his wish is to see him play out at least another full season and see if he can get to a historic 25th Grand Slam title.

During the 2023 season, Djokovic won all Grand Slams except Wimbledon, where he finished as runner-up. By doing so, the Serbian tennis giant climbed to a total of 24 Slams, leaving Rafael Nadal (22) and Roger Federer (20) behind. Also, the 38-year-old owns the all-time record for the most weeks spent at the world No. 1 place and he is the only player in tennis history with more than 400 weeks at the top spot.

Since the Serbian former world No. 1owns the two biggest records in the game, some argue that the record 24-time Grand Slam won and sealed the GOAT talk.

"I think the way he's playing, Djokovic, for me, is the greatest player to have ever played the game. And then the second place comes to (Roger) Federer and (Rafa) Nadal. They tied for the second place," Borg told Sky Sports.

Borg: I'm very impressed with what Djokovic does at 38

The only major record that has been left for Djokovic to be accomplish is winning a 25th Grand Slam. In women's tennis, Margaret Court finished with 24 Majors. And if the Serb can win his 25th Slam, he will become the first-ever male or female tennis player to achieve such feat.

The Serb, who will turn 39 next May, exited all of this year's Grand Slams in the semifinal stage.

"It's amazing how he can play that kind of tennis, 38 years old. I'm very impressed. I know he wants to win that 25th Grand Slam tournament. I hope he's going to play one more year, at least next year too, because the tennis he's playing. It's going to be tough with (Jannik) Sinner and (Carlos) Alcaraz and some other players too, but still, he can do it," Borg said.
