
Kazuchika Okada is still the man in AEW.
The Scotiabank Arena in Toronto hosted the AEW All Out, and it was quite a card for a Saturday night. The show was full of title matches, and Okada put his championship on the line.
In the Unified Championship match, as Kazuchika Okada defended his title against Konosuke Takeshita and Mscara Dorada. The three-way match was certainly a marquee match for the card, as the Rainmaker had the odds stacked against him.
This match went on after Mercedes Mone was able to retain her AEW TBS Title. Fans were ready for the action to continue, and the Unified Title match promised a big time match.
This match brought the action for fans from the get-go. The fact that we had three stars who are capable of boosting things up in a big way helped with the fast-paced action. Naturally, all three men brought everything to the table to ensure that their opponent didnt get an advantage early on.
Fans saw a ton of near falls in this match as everyone traded moves. The Toronto crowd was also very much into this contest through every big spot and signature move.
We will keep a close eye on the Unified Title in AEW, because Tony Khan is certainly giving it a focus. Only time will tell who steps up next to take on the champion down the line.
After a flurry of offensive moves, Kazuchika Okada retained the title after nailing a Rainmaker. This was a big win in Toronto, and Don Callis joined him in the ring afterward to celebrate.
