A few days ago, Jannik Sinner officially inaugurated his new Foundation in Milan in front of his family and team members. The former world No.1 who is preparing to play the Beijing ATP 500 next week had to relinquish the leadership of the ATP rankings after losing to Carlos Alcaraz at the US Open a couple of weeks ago, but he has not lost his smile and is ready to play his best tennis in the latter part of the season.
The 24-year-old from Sesto Pusteria will participate in the tournaments of Beijing, Shanghai, Vienna, Paris-Bercy and the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin, while his presence at the Davis Cup Finals in Bologna is uncertain after leading his Italy in the last two editions. The four-time Grand Slam champion will also be among the protagonists of the 'Six Kings Slam' in Saudi Arabia, an event in which he lifted the trophy last year by beating his main rival Carlitos Alcaraz in the final.

Jannik's season was quite peculiar due to the three-month ban due to his agreement with WADA, which prevented him from playing from February to May. He had to miss several tournaments, but he showed that he was at the top of his shape from his first tournament after the suspension and also came close to triumphing at Roland Garros at the beginning of the summer (the Italian star did not convert three match points against Alcaraz in the final).
During a recent interview with 'Sky Sport', Alex Vittur - Sinner's manager - praised the world number 2 and spoke about his new project: "I love him very much and I want to see him progress in everything he does. I think he has impressive potential both on and off the court. I tell him everything I think.
The Foundation represents a beautiful project and we have found the right people to make it happen. We also want to make this initiative professional and international at the same time."
