WrestlePalooza just got even bigger. After rumors swirled earlier today about LA Knight being spotted in Indianapolis ahead of the show, WWE has officially locked him in for a major role on tonights broadcast.
According to BodySlam.net, Knight will serve as the special guest referee for the tag team match pitting The Usos against The Visions Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. The change not only adds more star power to the bout but also raises the stakes, given Knights ongoing issues with both The Vision and Jey Uso.
On Monday Night Raw, Knight was ambushed by Breakker and Reed after they cost him a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. The tension escalated further when Knight and Jey Uso dropped each other with finishers on back-to-back weeks. With Knight now wearing the stripes at WrestlePalooza, all eyes will be on whether he calls it down the middle or lets his grudges influence the outcome.
The rest of WrestlePalooza still promises plenty of fireworks, with John Cena battling Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre, CM Punk and AJ Lee teaming against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, and IYO SKY facing Stephanie Vaquer for the vacant Womens World Championship.
WWE WrestlePalooza airs live tonight from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, streaming on the ESPN app in the U.S. and Netflix internationally. With LA Knight stepping in as referee, the tag team match could be one of the nights biggest wild cards.
