It all began when Ibou, a well-known figure in the online wrestling space who posts as @BackupHangman, shared a heartfelt message about his goals for the new year. Known for his commentary, analysis, and engagement within the wrestling world, Ibou tweeted:
The tweet quickly gained traction with support from fans and wrestlers alikebut not everyone was there for the right reasons. One user, posting under the handle @magawrasslin, replied with an openly racist comment:
